My main project during my internship was to create a standard census tracker for the different IUH sites. I collaborated with medical directors, nurse coordinators, and my supervisor to create this standard tracker for IUH. ​Some personal developments I have made in this role is through becoming more efficient in Excel and understanding the inner workings of the decision making in the hospital. My biggest weakness right now is public speaking and this internship has gave me somewhat of a push to speak more. My data analysis class has influenced a lot of decisions and designs I used for the census tracker for my internship. I learned many new functions in Excel from this course. I had overall very positive experience with this internship and I am so grateful for all the opportunities they gave me.
